2 Gambian military officers arrested for role in alleged coup attempt

Two Gambian military officers were arrested over the weekend for their involvement in an alleged coup attempt, an official said on Monday. Gambia on December 21 announced the arrest of several soldiers linked to an attempt to overthrow the country's government.
