2 girls seriously injured in German school attack; teen arrested

Two 13-year-old girls have been seriously injured in an attack on a secondary school in Germany's Bavaria, in which police arrested a 16-year-old boy as suspect. The suspect was carrying a knife and a gun, police said, but didn't confirm what weapon was used. The state's interior minister said there were unconfirmed indications that the suspect was a former student.
