2 govt officials arrested by CBI for taking ₹10,000 bribe in UP

The CBI has arrested a Junior Engineer employed on a contract and another official of the Cantonment Board of Ayodhya for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe of ₹10,000. The bribe was in exchange for issuing an allotment or permission letter required for lifting wood that had been auctioned by the Cantonment Board for ₹1.37 lakh and allotted to the complainant.
