2 Great Indian Bustard chicks born artificially in Rajasthan
Two Great Indian Bustard chicks were born in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer on May 10 and 11, taking the total to 86 at the Wildlife Institute of India. The chicks were born through artificial insemination, which raises chicks born via the process to 26. A recent census by the Wildlife Institute estimated about 128 Great Indian Bustards in the wild.
