2 held while allegedly trying to sell elephant tusks in Kerala

Kerala forest officials arrested Shamin Francis, 32, and Abhilash, 44, while they allegedly tried to sell elephant tusks at a homestay in Wayanad's Chethalayam. Acting on a tip-off, a joint team raided the spot and seized a pair of tusks, a small tusk piece and their vehicle. Officials are investigating the source of the tusks and possible accomplices.
