2 killed, 1 injured in knife attack in German city of Ludwigshafen

At least two people were stabbed to death and one person was severely injured during a knife attack in the western German city of Ludwigshafen on Tuesday, police said. The suspected attacker was shot and injured by the police before his arrest, as per media reports. The motive behind the attack was not immediately clear.
