Two minor sisters aged 16 and 17 years strangled their "abusive" father to death while he was asleep in a "drunken state" in Hyderabad's Jagadgirigutta area, Police Inspector A Ganga Reddy said. "The victim was an alcoholic and used...to verbally and physically assault the two girls when he was drunk," Reddy added. The two girls have been taken into custody.
