2 new craters on Mars named after towns in UP & Bihar

Scientists from Ahmedabad have discovered three previously unknown craters on Mars. They have been named Lal Crater, after Indian geophysicist Devendra Lal, and Mursan and Hilsa, after towns of the same names in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The crater names have been officially recognised by the IAU Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature.
