Two planes collided on the ground at Los Angeles International Airport at 10:30 am (local time), following which an investigation was launched. The planes involved belonged to Delta Air Lines and Air Canada. FAA said the Delta plane's left wingtip and horizontal stabiliser of Air Canada made contact. Images showed damage to the Air Canada plane after the incident.
