2 Russian Embassy staff members expelled for spying in Italy

Italy expelled two military attaches at the Russian Embassy in Rome over alleged involvement in espionage ​activities, Foreign Minister Antonio ​Tajani said. Earlier this week, Italy had arrested two people, including a former member of its intelligence services, for allegedly passing classified information to a Russian agent. Russia said it ​would respond to Italy's move.
