2 satellite images show transformation in India's monsoon

Two satellite images captured just 13 days apart have revealed the transformation of India's southwest monsoon. The first satellite image, taken on June 30, shows dense monsoon clouds stretching across central, western and eastern India. The latest image from July 13 shows that deep convective clouds are now concentrated over eastern India, the Himalayan foothills and the Northeast.
