2 soldiers, 5 militants killed in suicide attack in Pakistan

Two soldiers and five militants were killed in a suicide attack in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, the army said. A security forces’ convoy was targeted during an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district. The army blamed ‘Fitna al Khwarij’, a term used by Pakistan for Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Recently, a similar attack killed 11 security personnel in the same region.
