2 tourists killed in flash flood at Tamil Nadu's Courtallam falls

Two women tourists died after being swept away in a flash flood at Courtallam waterfalls in Tamil Nadu's Tenkasi district on Wednesday evening following heavy rains in the Western Ghats. The deceased were identified as 46-year-old V Malliga from Chennai and 55-year-old R Kalavathi from Cuddalore. "The two women had trauma injuries...and unfortunately they couldn't be saved," Tenkasi DC said.
