2 women killed by husbands in separate incidents in K'taka

Two housewives were allegedly murdered by their husbands in separate incidents in north Karnataka during New Year celebrations. One woman was killed in Vijayapura following a domestic dispute, while another was strangled to death in Hubballi. Police have arrested both accused. The incidents have raised serious concerns over rising domestic violence in the state.
