2-yr-old dog abandoned by owner, joins police unit in Japan

A two-year-old Pomeranian named Haku, once given up by his owner, has been recruited as a police dog in Japan. Originally born at a pet shop, Haku passed the police dog exam on his first attempt, competing against 51 dogs in disciplines including tracking and area search.
