2-yr-old girl sitting on mother's lap dies after car's airbag opens during accident in Kerala

A 2-year-old girl sitting on the lap of her mother died after the car's airbag opened during an accident in Kerala's Malappuram district. The girl got suffocated due to the airbag deployment as her face pressed on to it. The other four passengers, including the mother, escaped with minor injuries after the car collided with a tanker lorry, police added.
