20 Cognizant employees quit every day in last 12 months

In the 1st quarter of 2024, Cognizant experienced a sequential and year-on-year decline in headcount, reflecting a trend among IT companies. This decline, totaling 3,300 sequentially and 7,100 year-on-year, amounted to 344,400 employees. Despite this, CEO Ravi Kumar S expressed readiness to address short-term needs and anticipates increasing headcount.
