20 Karnataka Congress MLAs head to Australia for 'study tour', row erupts

Over 20 Congress MLAs from Karnataka have left for a 15-day study tour to Australia and New Zealand under Animal Husbandry Department to study international practices, amid speculation over leadership changes. The MLAs said the trip is being funded personally. Reacting to this, BJP's Ashok Gowda alleged a financial crisis in the state, claiming the government cannot even pay salaries.
