20 killed, 36 wounded as al-Shabaab attacks Somali govt centre

Militant group al-Shabaab has attacked a government centre in Somalia's Hiran region, killing 20 people and injuring 36 others, officials said. Hirshabelle Health Minister and the Deputy Governor of Hiran were killed in the attack on Monday. The attack comes after the US said it had killed a top al-Shabaab leader in an airstrike in Somalia on October 1.
