200 cities will be 5G enabled by April 2023: IT Minister Vaishnaw

IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday said that 200 cities will be 5G enabled by March-April 2023. "The rollout is in full swing, 2,500 5G towers are being deployed every week," Vaishnaw noted. He added that complete 5G rollout in any country across the world takes 3-4 years, while India plans to achieve that target in 2 years.
