200 houses burned down in major fire in floating Malaysian village

At least 200 houses were burned down in a major fire which erupted in a floating village in the coastal city of Sandakan in Malaysia on Sunday. While no casualties were reported, strong winds and the proximity of houses had caused the fire to spread quickly, officials said. The area is reportedly home to poor communities, including locals and non-citizens.
