200 people in UP village get rabies shots after eating curd from dog-bitten buffalo

About 200 residents of Uttar Pradesh’s Piprauli village had to get rabies vaccination as a precautionary measure after they discovered that the raita (curd) they consumed at a funeral was made from the milk of a buffalo that died after being bitten by a dog. No disease has spread in the village so far, the health department said.
