200-year-old Girad Mata Temple in Himachal gutted in massive fire

A massive fire broke out at the nearly 200-year-old Girad Mata Temple in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district, completely damaging the shrine. The temple’s main structure, made of cedar wood, caused the flames to spread rapidly. By the time locals reached the spot the temple structure had been fully engulfed. The ancient brass idols inside the temple also suffered extensive damage.
