20,000 staff leave Foxconn’s China plant after its $1,400 offer to quit: Report

A Reuters report has said over 20,000 employees of Apple supplier Foxconn have left its Zhengzhou plant in China. Most of the people who left were new hires who were not working on the production line. The departure comes after the firm offered about $1,400 to employees who wanted to resign and leave the chaos-hit plant.
