A series of five bomb blasts took place in various parts of Delhi on September 13, 2008. Terrorists targeted Karol Bagh, Greater Kailash Market and Connaught Place during the evening peak hours. The serial blasts claimed lives of over 20 people and injured around a hundred. Terrorist group 'Indian Mujahideen' took the responsibility of the bombings in an email.
