Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008, killing over 160 and wounding hundreds. After entering Mumbai via sea routes, the militants attacked and took hostages at various places including CST, Taj Hotel, Oberoi Trident and Nariman House. The attacks ended on November 29 after Indian defenders captured one (Ajmal Kasab) of the 10 militants while killing others.
