201 fire calls reported in Delhi on Diwali: Delhi Fire Service

Despite a complete ban on firecrackers in Delhi, the fire department received as many as 201 calls on Diwali. Before the festival, the chief of the Delhi Fire Service had said that the department was prepared to fight fires through drones with which they could access high-rise buildings. The fire department had also deployed fire tenders near congested areas.
