2022 ties to become hottest year on record in Germany: Weather dept

The year 2022 has tied to become the hottest year on record in Germany since record keeping began in 1881, the German Weather Service said on Friday. After the final data from all weather stations in Germany are collected in January, it will be judged whether 2022 was hotter than 2018, which is currently marked as the country's hottest year.
