20-year-old shuttler Lakshya Sen defeats world champion Loh Kean Yew to win India Open

India's 20-year-old shuttler Lakshya Sen defeated world champion Loh Kean Yew of Singapore to win the India Open men's singles title. It is the first time that an Indian won the tournament on India Open debut. Lakshya won the final with a scoreline of 24-22, 21-17 in 54 minutes. Lakshya won a prize money of $30,000.
