20-year-old Will Smeed smashes The Hundred's first hundred
Birmingham Phoenix opener Will Smeed has become the first cricketer to smash a hundred in The Hundred. The 20-year-old slammed an unbeaten 101 off 50 deliveries against Southern Brave on Wednesday. His knock included six sixes and eight fours. The previous highest score in The Hundred was 92*(40), registered by Birmingham Phoenix's Liam Livingstone against Northern Superchargers last year.
