20-yr-old BTech student dies by suicide in Hyd after losing money in online games

A 20-year-old third-year BTech student died by suicide in Hyderabad over alleged financial debt after he lost money playing online games. Family of the deceased, Manoj Salem, alleged that he was being harassed by executives of an online loan app despite having cleared a ₹3-lakh loan earlier. Manoj had allegedly borrowed money from friends apart from the loan app.
