The Haryana government has announced that a total of 21 all-women police stations would be inaugurated in the state on the eve of 'Rakshabandhan' festival on Friday. These police stations would come up in 21 districts of Haryana. Notably, the state now has upto 3,000 female cops and would soon recruit 1,000 more women to ensure the safety of women.
