21 illegal bunkers destroyed in Manipur after BSF constable shot dead

Security forces in Manipur destroyed 21 illegal bunkers constructed by armed miscreants in Ukhrul district and recovered 11 empty cartridges. Local police also seized 13 IEDs (improvised explosive devices) from the Tengnoupal district in a separate operation. The crackdown comes after a BSF constable from West Bengal, Mithun Mandal, was shot dead by unidentified militants while on duty in Ukhrul.
