21 Manipur MLAs write to PM Modi seeking 'popular govt' in state

A total of 21 MLAs from Manipur have sent letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, demanding the immediate installation of a “popular government in the state.” The MLAs stated in the letter that they assure their "full dedication and commitment to restoring peace if a popular government is reinstated (in Manipur)".
