Ex-Australia opener Matthew Hayden scored 380 in their first innings of a Test against Zimbabwe in Perth on October 10, 2003. He took 437 deliveries and a total of over 10 hours to score the runs. Hayden's 380 is the second-highest score in Test cricket history after Brian Lara's 400* against England. Australia declared the innings at 735-6.
