At least 217 protesters have been killed in the ongoing protests in Iran, TIME reported, citing a doctor. The doctor said that the majority of the deaths were caused by live ammunition and most of them were young people, including several killed outside a northern Tehran police station. This comes after internet and international telecommunication services were suspended in Iran.
