22-year-old Haaland breaks record for scoring most goals in a single PL season

Manchester City's 22-year-old forward Erling Haaland broke the record for scoring most goals in a single Premier League season on Wednesday night. Haaland took his tally of goals in Premier League 2022-23 to 35 with a 70th-minute goal against West Ham United. Andy Cole (Newcastle United, 1993-94) and Alan Shearer (Blackburn Rovers 1994-95) jointly held the previous record (34 goals).
