22-yr-old athlete breaks Bolt's 200m record, then discovers he only ran 185m

US' 22-year-old sprinter Noah Lyles was denied a 200m world record in Inspiration Games after it was revealed he ran only 185m because of a "blunder" by organisers. The 22-year-old's 200m time of 18.90 seconds would have bettered the 19.19 mark set by Usain Bolt in 2009. It turned out Lyles began from the wrong starting block, only running 185m.
