23,000 Indian seafarers stuck in Gulf region near Strait of Hormuz amid war
As many as 23,000 Indian seafarers are stranded in Gulf region near the Strait of Hormuz amid escalating tensions in West Asia, according to reports. Around 36 Indian-flagged vessels remain stuck after the strait was effectively closed, reports added. Of these, 24 vessels are west of Hormuz and 12 in Gulf of Oman.
