23 illegal bunkers destroyed, 18 IEDs seized in Manipur

Security forces destroyed 23 illegally constructed bunkers in Manipur's Ukhrul and seized 18 IEDs in Tengnoupal district. A 12-bore pump-action gun, 17 cartridges of different calibres and 111 empty bullet cases were also seized. The action comes after at least seven people were killed and over 30 houses were torched in violence between Tangkhul Naga and Kuki communities since February.
