23 Indians denied entry or detained by South Korea on Jeju Island in 2025: Govt

Indian government said there were 23 cases of Indian nationals being denied entry/detained or deported by South Korea on Jeju Island in 2025. Upon receiving requests for assistance in such cases, Indian Embassy in Seoul reached out to Korean authorities to ensure humane and dignified treatment of affected Indians, government added. There were 10 such cases in 2024.
