23 more banks included in UDGAM portal to claim unclaimed deposits

RBI has included 23 more banks in the Unclaimed Deposits - Gateway to Access Information (UDGAM) portal to help the public search for unclaimed deposits, taking the total banks available on the portal to 30. The portal, launched on August 17, now covers around 90% of unclaimed deposits (in value terms) in Depositor Education and Awareness Fund, RBI said.
