23 of 25 Itanagar councillors from Congress join BJP

Out of the 25 Congress councillors of the Itanagar Municipal Council in Arunachal Pradesh, 23 joined the BJP on Wednesday. They expressed confidence in the BJP government led by CM Pema Khandu. "Now on you are BJP members and we will work as a team for welfare and development of not only Itanagar but the entire state," the BJP said.
