23-year-old Asmi elected youngest State Bar Council member

Advocate Asmi, a 23-year-old, was elected unopposed as a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana on Tuesday, becoming the youngest-ever State Bar Council member in India and the first Gen-Z lawyer elected to any State Bar Council. Her election also gives Punjab and Haryana Bar Council the highest women representation among all State Bar Councils.
