231-year-old world record broken as Pakistani domestic team fails to chase down 40-run target
The world record for lowest target defended in first-class cricket was broken on Saturday, with Pakistani domestic side Sui Northern (SNGPL) failing to chase down 40-run target. PTV dismissed SNGPL for 37 runs to win President's Trophy match by two runs. The previous record had stood since 1794, when Oldfield successfully defended 41 against MCC at Lord's Old Ground.
