Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 24x7 water supply project in Manimajra, a province of Chandigarh. Completed at a cost of Rs 75 crores and set up under the Smart City Mission, the project is expected to provide safe drinking water, benefitting over one lakh people--that is, every household in the area.
