24-year-old IIT-Kanpur PhD student dies by suicide in hostel room

A 24-year-old student, pursuing PhD in chemistry at IIT Kanpur, died by suicide in his hostel room. The reasons behind the incident are still under investigation. The incident came to light when calls made to the student by his friends went unanswered. A suicide note found in his room stated that he blamed nobody for his death.
