24 years since Bhutan, Montserrat played 'The Other Final' before FIFA WC final

While Germany and Brazil were set to face each other in the FIFA World Cup 2002 final in Japan, the then-lowest-ranked teams, Bhutan and Montserrat, played a friendly match popularly known as 'The Other Final' on June 30. The match, which Bhutan won 4-0 against Montserrat, was intentionally scheduled for the same day as the official FIFA World Cup final.
