24-yr-old Pak-origin Sydney shooter was probed for 6 months in 2019 for ISIS links

Pakistani-origin Naveed Akram, the 24-year-old man behind Sydney terror attack, was investigated by Australia's intelligence service in October 2019 over links to ISIS terror group. He was examined for six months because of his alleged association with an ISIS member who was arrested in July 2019. Two ISIS flags were found in the gunmen's car at the beach, reported ABC.
