24-yr-old son of Assam tea seller gets seat in AIIMS Delhi; state to fund his studies

A 24-year-old man in Assam has secured a seat at AIIMS-Delhi having cleared the NEET exam in his first attempt. Rahul Das is the child of a tea seller and would study in between serving customers at his mother’s shop. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that all education expenses of Das will be borne by the state government.
